In the immediate vicinity of Casa Malingut you can take some lovely walks, climbing towards Superga, along one of the various paths that pass near the house and wind through the Turin hills.

From the house, it's easy to reach the center of Turin by car. However, for exploring the city, we recommend taking the bus: in the Sassi area (at the foot of the hill) there's plenty of free parking and bus lines (61 and 68) and tram lines (15) that take you to the city center in 20 minutes. During the day, they run frequently, and you never have to wait more than about 5 minutes for either one. Sassi can be reached from the house by car (4 minutes) or on foot (20 minutes)...if you're so inclined...

Following the road that leads away from Turin towards the south-east (SS10) from the house, in about 30'-45' you arrive in the hills of Monferrato , Roero and Langhe - renowned for food and wine tourism - while if you like the mountains, in about an hour's drive you can reach numerous Alpine resorts and parks, such as the Gran Paradiso Park , the Olympic valleys and the Aosta Valley .

Not far from the Turin ring road, the house is an ideal base for visiting the entire Piedmont region. In 2018, it received the prestigious Lonely Planet award for "Best in Travel Top Region 2019."
