The house is located at the foot of the Superga Hill Park, about a 20-minute drive from the city center.
To reach the house, you'll need to cross a rather narrow bridge. If you have a van or a particularly large car, you'll need to be a good driver.
Unless you're a good walker, a car is practically essential. However, to visit Turin, you can leave it nearby (in the "Sassi" area, a 5-minute drive or about a 25-minute walk), where there's plenty of free parking and frequent public transportation (lines 15, 61, or 68), which takes you to the city center in about 20 minutes.
Nearby, you can enjoy beautiful walks along the many forest trails leading to the Basilica of Superga. The state road (SS10) in the opposite direction from Turin takes you to Monferrato, Roero, and the Langhe in 30-45 minutes. If you enjoy the mountains, you can reach various Alpine sites and parks in about an hour's drive.
In winter, if it snows (which is becoming increasingly rare these days), the road can be difficult.
Per arrivare alla casa occorre passare su un ponte piuttosto stretto, se avete un furgone o una auto particolarmente grande è opportuno essere dei buoni guidatori...
A meno di essere buoni camminatori l'auto è praticamente necessaria, tuttavia per visitare Torino si può lasciare l'auto nelle vicinanze (zona “Sassi”, a 5 minuti di macchina o ca. 25 minuti a piedi), dove c'è grande disponibilità di parcheggi gratuiti e frequenti linee di trasporto pubblico (15, 61 o 68) che in circa 20 minuti portano in centro città.
Nei dintorni si possono fare belle passeggiate, verso la Basilica di Superga, attraverso i numerosi sentieri esistenti nel bosco, mentre tramite la strada statale (SS10) in direzione opposta a Torino si raggiunge in 30'-45' Monferrato, Roero e Langhe. Se piace la montagna, in circa un'ora di macchina si può raggiungere diversi luoghi e parchi alpini.
In inverno, in caso di neve (sempre più raramente ormai), la strada può essere difficoltosa.
ACCESS AND SERVICES
Once you arrive at the house, the gate opens by entering the code 2022# on a keypad on the side.
Once you've unloaded your luggage, park your car at the end of the driveway on the left, taking care not to hit your rearview mirrors with the stairs or the plants at the side of the driveway.
Going up the external stairs of the house you enter a glass door, the apartment is on the left, on the door there is a brass plaque with the words "CORONGIU".
The house key is on the keyhole. Be careful not to close the lock from the inside; it's beautiful and old, but it's defective, and you risk getting locked in... 🙄
The living room and kitchen are on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The cutlery is in the drawers under the table (the drawers are not visible...). The kitchen leads to the upper floor, where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located.

The house is not suitable for disabled people.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
In the storage room next to the kitchen there are 3 containers for collecting separated waste:
Place glass and metal objects (jars, bottles, cans, etc.) in the blue container;
Place clean or nearly clean plastic objects (PET, PP, etc.) in the orange container.
Place clean or nearly clean paper and cardboard in the green bin.
Organic waste should be placed in the container on the windowsill and then taken to the compost bin located at the bottom of the garden on the left, after the sheds.
In the kitchen there is a bin for all other waste.
OTHER
Linen
Laundry is washed but not ironed, or ironed very little. This is a habit that's not good for the environment (if you're interested, you can read about it here ).
We believe that for the sake of the environment, this shouldn't be done too often, but if you feel the need, you can have your linens changed for 8 euros (5 euros for a set of sheets and pillowcases and 3 euros for towels).
40% of this amount will be donated to the Resconda Association for the conscious repayment of environmental debt , as a form of compensation for the energy costs of washing laundry.
Cleaning
Final cleaning is usually included in the price. Additional cleaning is available for an additional €60.
